In Brazil, right-wingers say: "Go back to Cuba!" That's more accurate, I think.

Yes. Far too many American’s aren’t that aware of world politics. Is there a Brazilian saying that’s equivalent to “they’re the dullest knives in the drawer?”

hehehehe. I didn't know that saying, but I loved it. We don't have an equivalent saying around here, unfortunately.

This was wonderful Ed!!!!! And I share your observations about wishing to avoid stereotyping people... and yet seeing the almost cliche-like similarities within the MAGA mobs. Both the maga and evangelical christians strive hard to create and enforce conformity within their cults so perhaps it shouldn't be too surprising that they could be stereotyped so easily?

Yes! And yet, if you're like I was back when I was a political cartoonist for an alt-newspaper in Oklahoma, how easily I found the satire made the cartoon work feel more extremely necessary. Humans tend to ignore what is plainly obvious because it becomes "the air you breathe". In such times satire and humor are all the more important because they help us to SEE what is happening and avoid normalizing the crazy!

Please keep your pens filled with ink and in use!!!!

Yep. I can proudly say my work in the American Bystander has been some of the best stuff I've ever created, and will P.O. the Trumpians so much!
