Right after I challenged you on climate and hurricanes, I came in to take a look. This post caught my eye. And on queue my prior comment meets your Hurricane Sandy stuck in NYC moment. How fitting.

Funny post! Take care M

You're not alone. I'm currently travelling. And it's not a pretty story. My flight has been delayed for six hours due to bad weather.

Just as I decided I really don't want to visit my hometown, SLC, ever again, one of my nephews dies. C of L coming up in fall. When I asked Jeff if he wanted to fly or drive, he sighed with relief when I agreed to drive from Minden, NV to SLC ... eight friggin' hours on I-80. Not bad these days, really. You can drive light-speed and get away with it because of the NTA conditions of the rural cop shops. (No Trooper Available) And his flying experiences have been so uncomfortable and horrific as to give him hives at the very thought. You are NOT alone. Happy trails, Ed. Hope your flight and time back in NYC are pleasantly uneventful.

Awww thanks for mentioning my newsletter!!! I appreciate that!!!

One of my airplane travel horror stories was a flight that was supposed to leave 530 am which was delayed due to mechanical problems. The 2nd flight hours later was also delayed due to mechanical problems. The 3rd, and 4th flights were each in their turn delayed due to mechanical problems. More than 8 hours later our 5th flight comes in ... we get on the plane, it shakes and shimmies, the plane looks "worn" and yet we're supposed to trust that this one is mechanically fine. 🤦‍♀️

We did arrive at our destination eventually and now I'm a fan of train travel.
