Here’s a comic that’s based on the wonderful logic of children. I overheard these magic crumbs of wisdom this past weekend when I was walking my dog around the local park playground.

Now that the writer’s strike is going on, maybe Late Night TV hosts, like Jimmy Kimmel or Jimmy Fallon, should gather a group of 9 and 10 year olds to write thier material? Comedy gold falls from these pre-teen brains.

LEERLO EN ESPAÑOL

There’s no big story or a deep pondering to go with the comic this week, just a brief visit to that tender age when the bewilderment with life wasn’t rotten and stinky like spoiled fish sticks.

Ah, the honest comedic observations of youth. Maybe I should hire a pack of 9 and 10 year olds to write MY material?

Then again, how many would I be able to find who’ll work for candy bars and Skittles? Probably not many. Kids today are too sharp for the old sugar swindle. Although I heard there’s some desperate writers in Hollywood who might now consider it. Hold the line, Brothers!

That was perfect! I loved this. But, I don't think these kids would ever be scabs--but maybe the studios can find some horrible teenagers to fill in. (As the father of three teens and a very teenagery pre-teen I'm contractually obligated to state that not all teenagers are horrible)
