And to you as well my friend. May you, Zoe, and the ever powerful Hera have a smashing Chrismahanukwanzaa with plenty of singing and laughing into the New Year.
...nice! My son played the tuba in his high school band. He brought it home a few times to practice. Loud? Oh yeah. His HS mascot was an eagle so I got permission and painted an eagle's head on tuba. Instant hit. Thanks for the memories! Who said that???????
Very Cool! It was interesting to see the various adornments, as well as the conditions of the various instruments. A few looked like they were dragged from the back of a truck, but still made beautiful music!
I have mad love for all the brass players. My favorite tuba player is Bill Barber, who played the thing in Miles Davis' band (!) in the late 1940s. (Miles also had Junior Collins playing the French horn at the same time, which is unique since neither instrument is typically associated with jazz.)
Merry merry to you too, Ed. Take care and we'll look forward to your creations in 2024.
Oom Pah! Blaaaaat! Happy Xmas and a Merry new year.
Yippee-Ki-Yay. Thank you, for an entire year of madness. Looking forward to even more. Enjoy and Happy New Year!

A perfectly weird holiday installment, Ed! I loved it!

I'll have to go and listen to old Miles Davis. I never realized that before. Thanks for the heads up!
